The DIRECTORATE FOR THE VERIFICATION OF SAFETY AND SECURITY MANAGEMENT OF SHIPS AND PORT FACILITIES (DEDAPLE) is the competent authority for the implementation of ISM Code to ships and their managing companies in accordance with the provisions of Chapter IX of SOLAS, the implementation of ISPS Code to ships, ports and port facilities in accordance with the provisions of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS and the inspection for certification of ships in accordance with the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006. It consists of the following units:

c) Verification of Security Management of Port Facilities and Ports Unit
