Regulations and Control of Organisations Directorate (RCOD) is the competent Authority for:

(i) the control of statutory inspection and certification services provided by Organisations- classification societies within the scope of their respective bilateral agreements,

(ii) supplementary inspections of ships flying the Greek flag,

(iii) the training of auditors/ inspectors, acting within the scope of the General Directorate competencies,

(iv) the imposition of administrative sanctions for infringements of legislation applicable within the scope of the General Directorate competencies,

(v) the administrative support of the General Directorate’s respective functions, in general.

These competencies are carried out through the following Units:

a. Unit for the Control of Recognised Organisations,

b. Unit for the Monitoring of applicable Legislation and imposition of Sanctions,

c. Unit for the Quality Management and Training of auditors/ inspectors,

d. Unit for the Administrative Support
